Rengstorf says this term shows their teaching was false and &#8220;<strong>in every respect they are a perversion of the Christian \u03b4\u03b9\u03b4\u03b1\u03c3\u03ba\u03bf\u03bb\u03bf\u03c2 [teacher], since they reject the claim of Jesus to domination over their whole lives.&#8221;<\/strong><a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ray\/Dropbox\/Blog%20entries\/Posted\/Dominated%20by%20Jesus.docx#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is an accurate description of Peter&#8217;s point since he stresses that these people do not live according to the teachings of Christ. \u00a0What struck me in the article was the use of the word &#8220;domination.&#8221;\u009d If we resist Jesus&#8217; domination of our lives we will be false teachers. He must rule all. Rebels will not be able to proclaim the Kingdom of God and the Lordship of Christ.<\/p>\n<hr size=\"1\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/Users\/Ray\/Dropbox\/Blog%20entries\/Posted\/Dominated%20by%20Jesus.docx#_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> <em>Theological Dictionary of the New Testament<\/em>, vol 2, p. 160.
