I. Packer&#8217;s chapter on Jonathan Edwards in his book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FQuest-Godliness-Puritan-Vision-Christian%2Fdp%2F0891078193%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dbooks%26qid%3D1179026956%26sr%3D1-1&amp;tag=thechildrshou-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325\">A Quest for Godliness<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"swgwboykwavboxrscnkx\" style=\"margin: 0px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=thechildrshou-20&amp;l=ur2&amp;o=1\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>. It is a great chapter, but one line especially stood out to me concerning pastoral ministry. It was this description of Edwards from Packer:<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;All his life he fed his soul on the Bible, and all his life he fed his flock on the Bible&#8221;\u009d (310).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>May this be said of us in the end.
