This, especially the last two stanzas, is a good word.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>OH IT IS HARD TO WORK FOR GOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Oh, it is hard to work for God,<br \/>\nTo rise and take His part<br \/>\nUpon this battlefield of earth,<br \/>\nAnd not sometimes lose heart!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>He hides Himself so wondrously,<br \/>\nAs though there were no God;<br \/>\nHe is least seen when all the pow\u2019rs<br \/>\nOf ill are most abroad.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ah, God is other than we think,<br \/>\nHis ways are far above,<br \/>\nFar beyond reason\u2019s height, and reached<br \/>\nOnly by childlike love.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Workman of God! O lose not heart,<br \/>\nBut learn what God is like,<br \/>\nAnd in the darkest battlefield<br \/>\nThou shalt know where to strike.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Then learn to scorn the praise of men,<br \/>\nAnd learn to lose with God;<br \/>\nFor Jesus won the world through shame,<br \/>\nAnd beckons thee His road.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For right is right, as God is God,<br \/>\nAnd right the day must win;<br \/>\nTo doubt would be disloyalty,<br \/>\nTo falter were to sin.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hymntime.com\/tch\/bio\/f\/a\/b\/faber_fw.htm\"><strong>Frederick W.
