Of Enoch: “Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.” (Heb 11:5) This was also Paul’s ambition: “Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.” (2 Cor 5:9) A fitting goal for life. May it be said of us.
